BIO

Seth Byrd is a violinist, composer and educator living in São Paulo, Brazil. He fiddles in the traditional music duo Two Ravens. He attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he studied composition with Elinor Armer. He studied violin with William Barbini. 

In 2018 Seth released Other Songs of Travel, a recording of four works for solo violin. His arrangements have been played at Burning Man by the Playa Pops Orchestra. His art songs have been premiered by Sydney Kucine and Samuel Faustine. His work Stockholm has been performed by violinist Patrick Galvin. Seth recorded with Sacramento rapper Hobo Johnson on his debut album The Rise of Hobo Johnson.
